THE PACK

Back when we were first engaged and planning our life together, we sat on a dated flower sofa in our drafty apartment rental and, rather introspectively, wrote lists of individual goals that fell into four separate categories: Personal, Professional, Adventure and Travel.
Later that night we cozied up and shared our lists to determine what we had in common and to make those plans definite: Something that seemed so easy to do back then before four kids, job pressures, and house renovations took precedence. To be honest, I didn't remember the exercise, much less what I wrote back then until we were in the process of cleaning out our basement for an upcoming renovation. Filed away in a dusty box we came across our pie in the sky goals. The thing is, we had some good goals. I was impressed with our 29-year-old selves. We even accomplished many of them. But, it was the travel goals that piqued our interest. We started our relationship with a common love for culture, and unique experiences and hoped to introduce our kids to that same love.
So, fast forward a couple decades, a marriage, four kids, and a little brick rowhouse in America that we call home...Our goal is to invite our kids to see the world and experience other cultures. We are footloose and diaper-free and ready to take on the known world.
NOTE: I have recently added my newest endeavor. It's called Story Ink. Hand-inked custom artwork that tells your story. So, what's your story? Please check it out on the menu at the top of the page.
